Spikes Up: Loaiza Silences the Critics

September 11, 2006 | By RotoRob | comment on this post

Oakland A's starting pitcher Esteban Loaiza is pitching much better lately.Apologies for our absence yesterday as we worked away on deadlines and tried to catch up on our sleep. Thanks to the lovely RotoWidow for filling in with her always-wonderful missives.

In this week’s Spikes Up, I looked at the remarkable turnaround (notwithstanding his last start) of Esteban Loaiza’s 2006 season.

Also, I talked about how Carl Crawford is gearing up to put the finishing touches on a superb season; and I offer an update of once-promising New Zealander Travis Wilson.

Read all this and the rest of my fantasy baseball nuggets in this week’s Spikes Up.

(Again, please click though to this article to help save it from the chopping block.)
