Position Battles: The Kings and their Castle

It’s been a season of frustration for Mike Bibby and the Kings.
The Sacramento Kings last missed the postseason in 1997-98, but that run looks in grave danger this season, as this undersized team has consistently been beaten on the boards and has had a hell of time winning away from home. We check in on the Kings’ fortunes in this week’s Position Battles.
Mickael Gelabale is a tremendous athlete, but his grip on the SF job in Seattle looks tenuous; Brent Barry is now starting over Manu Ginobili for the Spurs; and Malik Allen can’t seem to find his way into the Bulls’ lineup consistently.
We’ve got all this and a heap of other fantasy basketball tidbits to chomp on in this week’s Position Battles.

That Mickael Gelabale photo made me read the headline again to see if this was the NBA or WNBA.
Ha ha….you gotta love his \’do! That\’s one of the best things about the globalization of the game, it seems. All these fantastic haridos like Gelabale, Anderson Varejao and Fabricio Oberto (although his is kind of creepy). Let\’s not forget how Captain Canada, Steve Nash, used to let his freak flag fly, either.
Whats wrong with Steve Nash’s lettuce? I thought Shaggy…. eeeerrr….. Nash brought character to the floor. If Ben Wallace can rock his afro puff, Steve “The Yeti” Nash can grow his Jesus hairdo as long as he wants. Right?
Nothing wrong with Nash’s look…I loved it! I was shocked when he came out with his new, “more mature” look. Though clearly he’s no Samson, as hair or no hair, the dude keeps dealing.
Oh, by the way…if you want to have some fun with Steve Nash and his hair, you should check this out:

Good time waster!
Cheers.
