No one can argue with any of this, but what's the solution? I guess follow amateur sports?

I am not totally mad at the players. I mean get what you can. But, when it ruins the game and causes lock-outs, thats when enough is enough. Owners are greedy, players are greedy, and it is even said in the Bible "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil!."

I guess it happened when the players realized that because of their talents, owners were making ridiculous amont of money. The purist in me hates it, but intellectually, how can you overcome the fact that this is all big business?

Baseballs arbitration hearings are not something the average fan can really get into. The player wants more money and the team wants to give him less money. If players even have to GO to arbitration, what does that say about what the team thinks of you as an asset? When did sports become less about winning and more about financial well being?
