[...] We’re certainly having ourselves a grand ole time these days in the RotoRob’s Regular League and are looking at what should be a great battle heading down the stretch. Currently, there are five teams slugging it out for the title in this, the league’s inaugural season. Unfortunately, yours truly is not one of those contenders (those who don’t know teach…right?). Remembering back to last spring, I spent a lot of time touting what I believed was a solid play heading into the 2008 season, the all-outfield strategy. [...]

[...] Joey Votto, recently signed to a one-year deal by the Reds, will battle Scott Hatteberg for the first base job in Cincy. If he loses the gig, he’ll head back to Triple-A. Before all is said and done this season, however, Votto, who’s going in the 14th round of recent mock expert drafts will be heard from. Mark my words. [...]

I do agree Todd it most certainly would be interesting. The only mock draft I'm aware of in a draft and hold format that is actually played out is the Fantasy Guide mock.

Nice draft Tim. I've looked at this draft for a while and thought you had one of the top teams. I like your starting pitching staff even though you waited until the later rounds to grab it. There seems to be some good pitching depth this year. Your guys should at least keep you in contention. Although you went OF with your first 4 picks, that's not necessarily bad. Go with the best available early. I've made the mistake of going for position scarcity too early and it's not worked well. If you reach too early, you're toast. I like the Adrian Beltre pick. We all want him to become that guy we saw his last year with the Dodgers. That guy was a superstar. The guy we have now is a very solid player and fantasy contributor . You could do worse at 3b. If you reach, it's good to reach in round 15. It's better than reaching in round 3. Nice draft. One thing I wish would happen with all these expert mock drafts, is that readers could see how things played out at years end. No waiver wire, no pickups, just pick and play. A backup at each position in case of injury and then compile the stats at the end of the year. That way you see who truly drafted well.
