If I didn't know better, I'd think this comment came from Tito Horford. While you make a good point that Al's scoring has improved as a result of playing with a true point guard such as Bibby, he's still blocked less than one shot over his last five games. I'm not building my fantasy basketball team around a center that does not block shots. He can go on to have a solid, if not spectacular career in the NBA, but he projects to be much more valuable to the Hawks than he does to fantasy basketball owners.

Your take on Horford is very subjective. If you want to pick out Horford's shortcomings over a 3-4 game stretch from two weeks ago, apply the same logic to his stretch the last 4 games (he has improved greatly with bibby having a few games in his pocket with the hawks). Horford is at 15 and 12. Also you are ignoring his steals total for centers. According to Yahoo he is 10th in steals, and really 7th when you compare that he has played quite a few less games than numbers 8 and 9. Regarding blocks he will probably never be a monster shotblocker. However Josh Smith was a 50% increase in blocks after a year and horford looks like a consistent 15-16 ppg 12-13 rpg game 1 steal 1.5 blocks guy to me. None too shabby in my mind.
