In a keeper format I'd have to recommend Aybar without a doubt. The power potential is about the same and the upside in the speed category along with the fact that Aybar is 5 years younger makes it an easy choice for me. Looking at just this year I think it depends on what you're specifically looking for. For 2008 I give Barmes the edge in power and runs scored as he is currently hitting in the 2 slot and Aybar the edge in batting average, stolen bases and flexibility as he currently qualifies at both shortstop and second base. The multi-position eligibility is a huge bonus moving forward as we all know that injuries will be an on-going concern. Without knowing the specific needs of your team, I'd go with Aybar for this year with the position eligibility being the deciding factor. Hope this helps, and have a great 2008!

I'll have Tim M. comment on that, Sobe, but do note that we have a 'Fantasy Question?' link on the left side of the site. That's your best avenue for asking for advice.

Thanks, man.
