Fantasy Football Guide 2008

Andy and Derek feature prominently in this year’s Fantasy Football Guide

For the second straight year, Andy and Derek both did a boatload of writing for Rotoman’s always entertaining Fantasy Football Guide. It’s a publication I’ve helped out with from time to time behind the scenes as well, so we have a long association with both his football and his baseball mags.

At any rate, the guys pitched in this year by writing the quarterback, running back, kicker and defense/special teams rankings.

Other features of this fine pub include draft analysis, cheat sheets, over 400 player profiles, position rankings, stat projections, team-by-team fantasy analysis, amock draft, and as Andy so eloquently puts it as only he can, “the whole kit and kaboodle.”

    Hi Snake,

I’ve asked the editor of the pub to let you know where the best place to find this is.

    Cheers

    Hey Snake,

It was definitely available at Barnes and Noble and Borders a couple weeks ago. So that might be worth trying. I’d call ahead though, just in case they sold out or something.

    Hey Snake,

The editor was travelling, so he didn’t get back to me until now. He said the book went on sale July 22 and it should be widely available in Barnes and Noble and Wal-Marts, as well as Borders and Books a Million. And then it does show up in some groceries and drug stores, though usually not.

He also said that maybe next year they will be selling an electronic version, but not this year.

    Hope this helps.

Okay, cool. Regarding subscriptions, I’ll check with the editor again.

I am told by the publisher that the costs of maintaining the subscriptions are prohibitive, and passing them along doesn’t seem like a very customer friendly thing to do. We have a similar problem with mail order.

If you would be willing to pay a few bucks extra to have the magazine mailed to you each year, it might help to email the publisher at jbucovetsky(at)thefantasysportsguide(dot)(com) and let him know.

    Thanks,
    Peter
