Snake,

I like your eight. It makes sense. Totally agree with you about Holmes. He and the phrase consistency don't go together. As far as your draft, Moreno is a good option at 4. I would assume Sanchez and Mr. Detroit will come off the board first. The receivers are in weird situations. Crabtree is still out while Maclin might produce right away since he's on the best team but there are too many options in that offense.

Hi Snake,

We just looked into that, and that link is merely a mail-to link (and it works for us) so the issue is probably on your end. We believe that this is a Hotmail issue based on the error message. So it looks like your brower probably thinks that Hotmail is your default e-mail client, whereas you are clearly using a yahoo e-mail address. Check your browser settings.

Really? That's bizarre...thanks, I'm going to look into that. I've asked my main football writer to answer you, but he's travelling right now, so he will get back to you shortly. I'd look at it myself, but I'm not really a football guy.

I tried the link but I kept receiving this message:

Hey Snake,

I'll try to get one of our football writers to help you out. As an FYI, it doesn't make much sense for you to post questions on an article that's over a year old. In the future, use our handy "Fantasy Question?" link on the left side of the site.

I'm in a 14 team keeper league that uses 16 roster spots. Here is what my "Wounded Mosquitos" ended up with after it's 5-8 2008 campaign:

Adrian Peterson (Min - RB)
Marshawn Lynch (Buf - RB)
Ryan Grant (GB - RB)
Kevin Smith (Det - RB)
Felix Jones (Dal - RB)
Tashard Choice (Dal - RB)

Calvin Johnson (Det - WR)
Marques Colston (NO - WR)
Dwayne Bowe (KC - WR)
Braylon Edwards (Cle - WR)
Santonio Holmes (Pit - WR)
Ted Ginn Jr. (Mia - WR)

Zach Miller (Oak - TE)

Shaun Hill (SF - QB)

Ryan Longwell (Min - K)

Buffalo (Buf - DEF)

I only get to keep 8. I was planning on these:

1. Adrian Peterson (Min - RB)
2. Marshawn Lynch (Buf - RB)
3. Ryan Grant (GB - RB)
4. Kevin Smith (Det - RB)
5. Felix Jones (Dal - RB)
6. Calvin Johnson (Det - WR)
7. Marques Colston (NO - WR)
8. Dwayne Bowe (KC - WR)

I thought I'd see what you guys thought. Looks like Edwards still hasn't gotten over his case of the "dropsies" and Holmes has killed me the past 2 seasons when he disappears for long stretches. I'm drafing 4th this year and plan on Knowshown Moreno if he's still there.

Awesome, glad you got your copy. Ya, it's a pain you can't subscribe, but just think of the hunt as step one of your NFL Draft Prep!

Thanks guys. I checked back yesterday and they had just put them on the rack! I just like the way this mag is put together over the others out there. I wish I could subscribe to it so I can avoid going on "the hunt" every season. :)

I worked on this project and received my copies in the mail on Saturday, so I would think it'll be hitting stores any time now if it hasn't already.

As for your question, Larry Fitzgerald is on the cover.

I am told by the publisher that the costs of maintaining the subscriptions are prohibitive, and passing them along doesn't seem like a very customer friendly thing to do. We have a similar problem with mail order.

If you would be willing to pay a few bucks extra to have the magazine mailed to you each year, it might help to email the publisher at jbucovetsky(at)thefantasysportsguide(dot)(com) and let him know.

Thanks,
Peter

Hey Snake,

The editor was travelling, so he didn't get back to me until now. He said the book went on sale July 22 and it should be widely available in Barnes and Noble and Wal-Marts, as well as Borders and Books a Million. And then it does show up in some groceries and drug stores, though usually not.

He also said that maybe next year they will be selling an electronic version, but not this year.

Hope this helps.

Hey Snake,

It was definitely available at Barnes and Noble and Borders a couple weeks ago. So that might be worth trying. I'd call ahead though, just in case they sold out or something.
