It just gave myself a validation of sorts. Also, the fact that he has weapons such as Marshall, Royal, etc helps a great deal. The wildcard in this argument and the reason I believe he lacked consistancy is his type 1 diabetes. He has been previously played with this untreated which had left him tired and not normal with led to inconsistancies. Now that it is under control, he will prove this year that he is an elite QB. It has nothing to do with him being able to "throw far." He is extremely accurate and smart (Vanderbilt, yo), and makes good decisions with the football. Come on he played against one of the worst teams in the NFL in week one. The Raiders. Up to this point in his short career he hasn't been that consistent. He has yet to prove to be the "next great QB" you predict. Just cause he can throw far doesn't mean he's the next greatest QB. I disagree with Cutler being the next great QB.
