[...] 2009 NBA Mock Draft | RotoRob 9. Toronto Raptors: Tyreke Evans, SG, Memphis – Evans is an explosive scorer who would certainly be an upgrade over the likes of Anthony Parker. Jose Calderon could also get some time off from bringing the ball up, keeping the Raptor rotation fresh. I really like Evans to come in a make an immediate impact in Raptorland if selected here.
gary,

That is entirely possible that he does not fall to the kings. If Rubio is gone, I still think they look point guard. I am thinking the Kings would possibly go with Jrue Holiday out of UCLA, or MAYBE even Jonny Flynn out of Syracuse. I know it seems high for both, but the Kings don't really need a SG like Harden/Evans/DeRozan/Curry. I will have version 2 of the mock out in a week or so.

Thanks for the read,

Dave,

You are correct- Patty Mills would be a junior. But keep in mind he reads at a senior level...

I guess my crack research staff screwed that one up.

My apologies,

BETTYANN BAKOS,

Thanks for the comment. If Rubio slips to 4 and the Kings take him, you may have to be very patient with him as a fan. He is not a great shooter or scorer and he is physically weak right now. I think he needs 2-3 years before he can become what people think he is going to be.

Will,

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, there are sure to be a bunch of trades that will throw a wrench into draft night. There seems to be a lot of situations where best available and needs don't really match up. I think there will be a good amount of trade talk...

Great mock draft - pretty much agree with everything except the pacers bringing in another PG, love the thought of evans going to raps, I have strong thoughts that their will be some crazy trades.
