There's no doubt that Valencia has been generally overlooked by Fantasy owners, but that's finally changing in recent weeks, especially given that he's starting to find his power stroke. I really like the fact that he's shown an ability to adjust his approach within counts, and that's helped him keep his strikeout total fairly low for a rookie. He's a rising star, but we should temper our expectations given that he turned 26 this weekend; Valencia's upside is limited. Still, you're quite right in suggesting he deserves to be discussed more.
