Just got mine at my local newstand on 31st and Bdwy in Astoria. Excellent magazine as always. LOVE the dollar-value cheatsheets. Its about time you finally added them. Throw in some tiers next year and you'll be perfect.

Hi Brent,

I don't make the projections from the magazine available because they are really just mechanical projections based on the stats for the last few years, with some tweaks for players we know have changed situations. There are way too many players changing teams after the magazine goes to bed to fuss with playing time issues.

I make a whole set of projections available in mid March for download, along with updated prices. Those are the ones to pay attention to, since they are adjusted for playing time battles and ballpark changes.

An even more in depth set of projections (more categories) and prices (including Alex Patton's and Mike Fenger's) is available at software.askrotoman.com. This is a pay product, comes with some nifty software for list management and data updates throughout spring training.

The projection update in mid March includes my prices and the same categories as the magazine carries.

I didn't mean to make this an advertisement. BTW I generally share any data that I create if someone asks, so if you have a plan let me know and I'll decide then. I just wanted to be clear that the projections in the magazine help to show what sort of player each guy is, but there are lots of changes between that set and the update in March.

Thanks for asking.

Is there any way to get the player projections from your fantasy baseball guide on-line? I bought the magazine, but looking for a way to get the data into a spreadsheet for further analysis. Thanks!

I hear ya, Butch. Patience is not a strong suit here, and we're ready for baseball, too! Just a couple of weeks until pitchers/catchers report!

Thanks, Peter. There you go, Butch...hopefully it will land in your vicinity shortly. Have you asked the manager in your local B & N whether it is coming in stock there? They should have that information.

Hey Butch,

I'm hearing from people who are finding it in gas stations and bookstores and others who are not. I can tell you that it isn't in my local Barnes and Noble, but it will be, so for now all I can advise is patience.

I"ve asked and asked the Publisher to put out a pdf or online version, but for some reason I don't understand they're very resistant.

In any case, I'm pretty sure the mag isn't in every store it will eventually be in, so I hope it gets easier to find.

Cheers,
Peter
