Well, for starters, I'm not American, but I do like when my team wins... who doesn't? Secondly, while I hear you about college kids, to me, the Olympics should be about the BEST IN THE WORLD, regardless of sport. When it was "amateur" only, that was a bit of a joke; you'd have countries sending players that were only amateur in name, and the playing field was WAY more stilted than it is now. Finally, I am not rooting for blowouts and I don't even want the Americans to win the basketball gold; I want to see tight, close games (and they are coming soon), and I think it would be awesome if someone else snatched gold away from Team USA.

Dude you can get excited and giddy about the usa men's basketball team if you want but find people like you hilarious! We put a damn NBA all star team out there! we should win by 50 pts every night! I thought the olympics were suppose to be about amateur athletes not NBA all stars. But most americans love a winner! at all cost and by the way I'm a huge basketball fan I just don't get my rocks off watching huge mis matches! I say go back to the college kids!!
