While Bane, Freeze and Gordon get some time here, they’re really pushed to the side as two primary conflicts unfold. Selina and Bruce navigate their feelings for each other while striking a balance between their differing moralities. John and Bruce hit a strange mentor/apprentice relationship as John tries to woo Harley but also understand what it means to do the right thing.

Video Game Review: Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Episode 3

This episode, which feels shorter in length and faster in pace than the previous episodes, portrays Rachel’s final moments — and Chloe’s narrative which parallels it — as the life of a smart but troubled teen girl. The problem with this is that as the proverbial Laura Palmer of the series, there’s a gap between who you see in Before the Storm and her destiny in the original series.

Video Game Review: Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Simply put, Origins is a gorgeous game. It pushes the limits of this generation’s graphical fidelity despite the considerably vast landscape of Ancient Egypt. Lighting, water, character models, and more are all exquisite, and the draw distances are strikingly impressive, especially when flying around using Bayek’s eagle. Similarly, the animation has improved to smoother levels.
