New York has moved Mejia from the rotation, where he struggled badly, into its beleaguered bullpen and he earned his first save Saturday against the Nats. His swing and miss stuff could translate very well in a late-inning role.

Arcia got off to a slow start and lingering wrist issues sent him to the DL after just 18 at-bats. The 22-year-old is now rehabbing at Triple-A Rochester with a return just around the corner. Give him a week to knock the rust off and hopefully he’ll return to his rookie form of last year (14 homers in 351 at-bats).

Young has turned his game around nicely, swiping 10 bases in his past 11 games. He has struck out an alarming 22 times in 59 at-bats, but when he does find his way down the line, he’ll be a huge asset in the speed game.

Leake has very quietly enjoyed a solid start to the season. He was totally dominant against a very good St. Louis Cardinals lineup last week, scattering four hits over eight innings of shutout ball. Coming off a 14-win campaign last year, Leake will provide a lot more value as a fifth/sixth starter in your Fantasy rotation than he’s currently being given credit for. Hell, he’s not a bad golfer, either.

He built on that strong performance with a great spring and surprised many by claiming a spot in the Jay’s rotation out of Spring Training. In his debut Tuesday against the Rays he pitched 5 1/3 shutout innings with four punchouts. Hutchison’s Tommy John surgery is now well in the rear-view mirror so cough up a few of those FAAB dollars and enjoy the ride.
