NBA Daily Dose: Childress Crowns Kings

March 20, 2007 | By RotoRob | comment on this post
Atlanta Hawks swingman Josh Childress had his best night of the year.
The Hawks have held their own without Joe Johnson and Monday it was Josh Childress’s turn to shine.

It’s been another disappointing season for the Hawks, thanks in no small part to an endless streak of injuries. But since losing superstar Joe Johnson, the team has actually picked things up, going 5-2 and fanning hopes once again that they are a team of the future. Josh Childress, another one of the injury casualties earlier this season, enjoyed his finest night of the season in Monday’s win and we explore further in today’s Daily Dose.

Daniel Gibson is ready to return, but no longer has a starting job; Kobe was just sick last week; Boris Diaw is headed to the bench; and Matt Harpring will likely sit out tonight’s game.

Okay, so this isn’t the gospel according to Steven Furtick, the blogging Pastor from the heart of college basketball country (go Heels!), but if you need up to the minute fantasy basketball coverage, you can find everything you need in today’s Daily Dose.
