As of press time, Sid The Kid has 29 goals, including nine on the power play, putting him well above the pace he set in 2009-10 when he tallied 13 PPG. The 109 points he put up last season was not enough, apparently; he is on pace to shatter that total this season. We could be talking over 140 when all is said and done.

We have a first here at RotoRob with co-winners of the Fantasy Stud of the Year for 2010. From a Fantasy perspective, were there two players that were more dominating than Bautista and Gonzalez or that gave Fantasy owners a better return on their investment this past season?

Like I said, this one was one of the tightest races in years, and several players deserved this recognition, but the fact that LeBron was the second-best player in Fantasy basketball last season, and he remains a top 10 talent this year cinched it for him. King James was beastly in 2009-10, playing heavy minutes in his final season as a Cav, setting career highs in FG percentage, treys per game, FTs per game and assists per game (8.6) while just missing out on his third 30 PPG season.

Schoeneweis had to endure something no one – player or otherwise – should have to, when his wife died suddenly in late-May. He spent some time on the bereavement list, but just a couple months after returning, he had to again leave the Diamondbacks to deal with depression in the fallout of his tragedy.
