The Wire Troll: Dynasty WR Depth Needed

December 2, 2014 | By Josh Johnson | Comments (1)
Johnson emerged after the Vikings’ bye when he caught six of seven targets in a loss at Chicago. He saw 11 targets the following week against Green Bay and though he made just three receptions he did find the end zone. Johnson had two receptions for 41 yards in Sunday’s win against Carolina and we see him as a mainstay for the foreseeable future in Minnesota. Dynasty owners should smell their reserve WRs and then ask themselves if their future could be brighter with Johnson.

Video Game Review: Game of Thrones, Episode 1

December 2, 2014 | By Herija Green | Comments Comments Off
Anyone afraid that TellTale’s Game of Thrones would feel too far removed from the events of the show should have those fears dashed in the opening moments as House Forrester, the focal house of this side story, drinks wine just outside the Twins on the eve of Robb Stark’s march on Casterly Rock. Yes, the game opens at the infamous Red Wedding, and, as loyal banner men of House Stark, House Forrester loses plenty on that fateful night.

2014-15 Top 10 Fantasy Basketball Rookies

December 1, 2014 | By Herija Green | Comments Comments Off
As we all know, Wiggins and his potential went first, and Parker went second to the Bucks. On paper, this looks like a perfect fit as Parker slides in as a starter and focal point of the offense from the get go. His offensive game is extremely polished, and he’s capable from scoring from anywhere on the floor. Parker is also an adept passer and capable rebounder, though he’s unlikely to play in the post all the time given Milwaukee’s collection of bigs that need minutes. Don’t go overboard with your expectations — he’s still a rookie after all — but 15 points and 7-to-8 boards a game seems doable.
